Introducing US Legal System Through Intensive Legal Training with Justitia Training

This training was divided into 4 sessions. The first session was brought by Prof. Hikmahanto Juwana, S.H., LL.M., Ph.D. According to Prof. Hik, international law holds a substantial key to help elevate the law system in Indonesia to be more advanced.

 

The discussion was then continued by Gede Aditya Pratama, S.H., LL.M. who spoke about comparative law. The discussion focused on how private international law plays a role in solving cross-border legal issues.

 

As a dual licensed attorney, I spoke about the process of filing lawsuits and legal actions according to U.S. law, particularly in Washington State, and its differences with Indonesian legal proceedings.

 

The training was concluded by having participants split in two groups and having them presenting the mock up case based on materials presented earlier.
